Student and other protesters occupy El Retiro Library to ask Madrid Regional Government to open libraries 24 hours a day during exams time on December 23, 2013. Banner reads 'Culture never sleeps'. Students were allowed to stay overnight in El Retiro library, but lights were turned off so they couldn't study.
