TAMAJON, SPAIN - FEBRUARY 10: People dressed as Botargas and Mascaritas take part in the Almiruete carnival on February 10, 2018 in Tamajon, Guadalajara province, Spain. The Botargas and Mascaritas of Almiruete carnival is a pagan festival. Their masks are made with items symbolizing nature, shepherding life or magic beings, like goblins or devils. They wear white clothes with colorful ornaments, sticks and hats as they walk making sounds with cowbells. At the end of the festival they throw fluff and confetti as symbol to bring fertility.
