MADRID, SPAIN - JANUARY 9: Christopher (12 years) walks past a Spanish flag as he collect his belongings during the eviction of him and his father on January 9, 2015 in Madrid, Spain. Jose Antonio Giraldo lives with his son Christopher (12 years old) in an apartment from the Municipal company of housing and land (EMVS). Giraldo accumulated a debt of euros 19.000 as he could not afford to pay rent after losing his job. The state company sold the apartment to an investor group which demanded their eviction. Last year, EMVS sold 1.860 state apartments, that were meant to give housing solutions for citizens, to private investors. The eviction was postponed till January 15.
