Student and other protesters occupy El Retiro Library to ask Madrid Regional Government to open libraries 24 hours a day during exams time on December 23, 2013. Banner reads 'Culture never sleeps'. The Madrid regional Government is cutting opening hours for Public Libraries, as a expending cuts measure. Students were allowed to stay overnight in El Retiro library, but lights were turned off so they couldn't study.
